Papers, 1978-1982, compiled by the Upper Peninsula Federation of Landowners, a non-profit organization in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, founded in 1974. Includes copies of the original Kutak, Rock & Huie versions of Michigan's House Bill 4706, "Legislative Proposal for the Organization and Financing of Forest Development Districts in Michigan" an analysis of the bill by the Department of Natural Resources, copies of the Commercial Forest Act amendments of 1981 and Forest Improvement Act of 1980. Also includes correspondence, clippings and files on uranium mining in the upper Midwest as well as files and resources pertaining to water resources and the Great Lakes.
